We challenge you as the Director of Domestic Appliances & Coffee – North America to lead the Philips Domestic Appliances US Marketing Team; responsible for Philips Domestic Appliance portfolio and Coffee portfolio. In conjunction with the global Category, develop, establish and activate marketing strategies to deliver competitive marketing plans to deliver the local P&L, drive category growth and market share gains in the US. Effectively manage the marketing (including local product pipeline and packaging), advertising and promotional activities for the brand.

Lead the development of multi-year Business Market Combination (BMC) plans for the Brand:
Analyze consumer research, customer research, channel trends, current market conditions and competitor information to unlock new insights that will drive competitive advantage
Team up with global Categories to develop the innovation roadmap and localize existing global product.
Define long term strategic direction for both businesses
Develop and implement yearly marketing plan and activities for new and existing products:
Manage day to day business and P&L performance, develop and monitor sales forecast and outlook for the 2 business
Facilitate cross-functional Brand and category reviews to identify issues and opportunities
Define Brand Top must Do’s Assess and develop high quality National Marketing plan activities
Team up with other functions to facilitate channel / customer specific marketing activities, roadmap discussions and strategic customer relationships
Team up with Category and Finance and Sales Organization to deliver yearly and quarterly AOP financial goals
Manage and coordinate all marketing, advertising and promotional activities Analyze consumer research, customer research, channel trends, current market conditions and competitor information to unlock new insights that will drive competitive advantage
Your team
You will report directly to VP Head of Marketing of Philips, North America and lead a team of marketers focused on the US Appliance and Coffee retail market; as well as closely monitor activities in Canada. You will also work with a cross-functional team of experts from other departments (finance, marcom, category management, supply chain) as well as partner with the global category team of product marketers. This position is in Stamford, CT.

The successful candidate will possess the following knowledge, skills education and experience:
10+ years Professional Sales and Marketing experience
Previous experience managing a P&L
Marketing experience preferred in Durable/Electric appliances industry with proven interest and understanding of the ‘Food’ category/ industry
Bachelor required, MBA preferred
