Provide professional marketing and communications services to develop and deliver SP Marketing event programs. This position is responsible for designing, and developing and implementing strategic event programs focused on Cisco video, mobility, cloud and routing and switching solutions for the Service Provider market space.

The person in this role will also help create storylines and written communications in support of programs, will partner with the core SP solutions teams to determine the most effective communication messages, tools, and strategy to further the objectives of their initiatives and will be responsible for an array of activities focused on a launch and its impact at tradeshows and events. He/she will also be responsible for development of the meeting tool used at each event and for managing the executive involvement around those meetings and the event.
The role will serve as a marketing management advisor to solutions marketing leadership teams and build partnerships with individuals at all levels of the organization and will work across multiple functions at Cisco. The position will partner with all teams within CMO, CDO, CA, Sales, PR, AR and other appropriate marketing managers to ensure message alignment across the company. He/she must be able to work as part of a team to achieve desired results. He/she may manage outside vendors and consultants.
Activities and deliverables include some or all of the following items based on the program need:
● Develop the marketing program plan and deliverables, perform design and delivery of tactics as necessary
● Draft, update, and gain acceptance on program changes and implementations
● Set, manage, and communicate time lines and budgets
● Collaborate with Cisco SME’s and gather content for set deliverables
● Ensure consistent messaging surrounding programs to core constituents
● Interface with executive staff/leadership as it relates to event involvement
● Coordinate logistics around the event meeting tool and deliver appropriate reporting
● Interface with lead Cisco project manager to approve and accept milestones and deliverables for the program plan
