The US Developer Experience and Evangelism (DX) team is growing. We’re looking for a creative and passionate person to run our ‘go to market’ partnership for a portfolio of approximately 15 ISVs with commercially available apps and services built on Microsoft Azure, Windows 10, and/or O365. These ISV’s represent Microsoft’s most strategic commercial partners. DX’s mission is to secure the next generation platform by driving adoption, app development and revenue through a vibrant ISV ecosystem.

Key responsibilities include:
Drive end to end ‘go to market’ strategy for ~15 managed ISVs and publishers across co-marketing, co-selling and evangelism efforts to support ISV success.
Create strategic long term marketing strategies for top managed accounts (Commercial and Azure) that drive customer adoption/revenue
Drive integration with Microsoft field, business development managers, marketing managers, technical evangelists and field sellers
Demonstrate operational excellence around planning, strategy and execution
Provide thought leadership on go to market and serve as voice into senior leaders, partners and customers
Create channel go-to-market strategies to drive joint pipeline and revenue
Collaborating closely with corporate resources, segment teams, and partner organizations to drive discoverability and awareness of the partner solutions
Driving promotion and adoption of ISV applications through the Windows Store, O365 Store, and/or Azure Marketplace
A successful candidate should possess a deep understanding of the ISV ecosystem, competitors, and market dynamics. Also, a candidate must demonstrate exceptional leadership skills with a combination of 1) product marketing, 2) sales, and 3) partner management expertise to lead Microsoft go-to-market initiatives. You will leverage these skills to deliver on the US and DX adoption, app development and revenue goals. In addition, the candidate will be able to facilitate strong cross group collaboration and a commitment to marketing, sales, evangelism and management excellence.
Qualifications:
The candidate will need to possess very strong analytical/business skills, proven customer/partner development capability, outstanding communication skills and good networking skills across a complex organization. The candidate should also have a solid grasp of the software industry and a good understanding of Microsoft’s position in the technology landscape and the strengths and weaknesses of Microsoft.
The ideal candidate will have:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in software product marketing, sales, and partner management with a consistent track record of meeting and exceeding goals
Strong understanding of mobile and cloud computing technologies, business drivers, and emerging trends
Strong network building capabilities across senior executives between Microsoft and our strategic partners
Proven record of growing new businesses and building business relationships with senior executives
Communications; strong analytical skills with exceptional verbal and written communication
Results driven: Exceptional decision-making, conflict resolution, negotiation skills, and a severe disposition for taking action
