Director Strategy Deployment Nike Portland

Job Description:
As our Strategy Deployment Director you will manage the strategic planning process, working with leadership to create the 1 to 3 year strategic plan, organizing key meetings, and driving successful deployment of the strategic roadmap across the Network. You’ll manage building the business cases using fact-based analysis to project and balance cost, effort and value delivered, for our key initatives. You’ll also develop high-impact presentations and communication tools to share our strategic plan and vision across the organization.

You’ll lead the development and ongoing management of tools and processes supporting the deployment tracks, establishing scorecard metrics to monitor progress. In addition to being on the Global AA leadership team you will manage and coach a team of two.


Summary of Responsibilities:

Strategy Creation and Deployment 40%
Partner with Sr. Leadership team to create and author 1 to 3 year strategic plan.
Quarterback end-to-end Strategy Deployment yearly process for the network.

Portfolio Management 15%
Manage portfolio of projects that support the strategy and delivery value.
Develop business case and financial models to focus value driven portfolio through measurement of cost, effort and benefit.

Process Improvement & Execution – 15%
Capability building and continuous process improvement.

Network Management – 15%
Orchestration of steering committees and network meetings with leadership including topics, prep and follow-ups.

Team Management – 15%
Acquire, coach and develop talent


Desired Skills and Experience
Experience Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Master’s preferred.
Minimum 7 years business experience, preferably in business development, management consulting, strategic planning, and finance or project management.
2 years experience in retail or wholesale Replenishment operational or strategy role.
Ability to think strategically and deliver compelling high-impact presentations.
Advanced project and process management skills with a track record of building and implementing new capabilities within large company leveraging lean methodologies.
Strong consulting, communication and analytical skills.
Refined skills in building relationships and serving as a liaison between functions.
Ability to work across multiple stakeholders and levels of the organization.
