Job Description:
Dow Jones Risk & Compliance is a high growth business unit within Dow Jones that enables financial institutions and corporate customers meet international Anti Money Laundering (AML), Sanctions and Anti-Corruption regulations and protect their firm from Commercial and Reputational risk. Our data, technology and report solutions are used by many of the largest financial and corporate institutions globally and enable our customers to consider their clients and partners as an opportunity for growth rather than a legal or reputation threat. The Risk & Compliance segment is now one of the fastest-growing and mission critical areas of the information market. Dow Jones is a leading provider of high quality sanctions and additional risk data and this new leadership role has been created to support the growth of the sanctions business and to ensure Dow Jones maximizes its market position.

The objective of the role is to work with key stakeholders in the Data Strategy, IT and Sales teams and with customers to develop the product and service offerings that meet market requirements as well as leading the business both internally and externally to ensure it meets growth targets and operational objectives.

Reporting to the General Manager - Dow Jones Risk & Compliance you will be responsible for delivering on the business plan for the segment and seeking opportunities to develop new services that enable existing and prospective Dow Jones customers to enhance their payments processing compliance. The position requires a candidate with significant expertise and experience in the area of Due Diligence, preferably within a compliance background.

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities
The Director of Due Diligence Product is to be a leader with excellent interpersonal skills and capability to influence and motivate key business stakeholders whilst displaying significant experience of the Due Diligence business.
Good understanding of regulatory requirements from major jurisdictions and knowledge of challenges faced by regulatory firms are required as well as strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to explain complex topics succinctly to senior compliance and operations decision makers at financial institutions, in a way that inspires and excites.
Director of Due Diligence Product will be expected to travel and be flexible on working hours to accommodate international time zones and work commitments.

Knowledge/Experience
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leading a business/team whilst meeting business objectives and operational constraints.
Good understanding of workflow, report formatting and delivery mechanisms for Due Diligence reports.
MBA qualification is desirable.
