Role Mandate
As part of the store planning and design team, the Director of Store Planning & Design primary focus will be the development and delivery of Design Development documents on schedule and on budget. The Director oversees the planning, design, scheduling, development and execution of all OFF 5th stores including HBC's global outlet partners.
Responsibilities:
•Manage and lead team of architects and interior designers through the design process
•Partner with Finance, Merchandising, IT and store operations
•Chairing and lead all internal and external meetings with in house partners as well as outside consultants and vendors.
•Managing the design and roll out of all new store openings and retrofits in North America
•Proactively manage changes in project scope and devise contingency plans/options when applicable
•Identifies potential project risks and develops processes that align internal and external resources to satisfy those gaps
•Manage budgets and capital expenditures and work to find creative cost savings in design of stores while maintaining high standards
