Job Description
This position will manage Demand Planning for the North America Publishing (APO) organization across all EA studios and business models. This position will drive the planning & forecasting activities for any strategic initiative in terms of new product or/and new business model initiated by the studios, competition or cross-industry benchmark.
This position will be responsible for delivering best in class strategic demand plans and best in class analysis that will enable company executives to take informed decisions on any new development opportunity.
This position requires deep game/business knowledge, strong demand planning background/experience, strong executive presence with a mature, confident manner and excellent cross-functional leadership and collaborative skills.
Key Job Responsibilities
Work with Studio Executive Producers, Development Directors, Global Marketing Leads, Global Analytics, Global Strategic Planning and Global Finance Planning to enable APO Execs to have constructive discussions/ take appropriate decisions with Studio Execs on development initiatives.
The Development Initiatives Covers 2 Main Areas
Gate Process/Forecast
Enable APO to have a solid position on long range forecasts and enable APO execs to have constructive discussions/ take appropriate decisions with studio execs on development initiatives
Build the APO gate process to get a clear calendar of when the gate requests are due and what grain is required (ST, SI, $, platform, country, FY, LT…)
Work with Studio Executive Producers, Development Directors, Global Marketing Leads and Global Analytics to gather as much information/insight with regards to the development initiative
Build the prep work for the demand sizing and get clear & meaningful demand forecast rationale / assumptions
Partner with the Demand Planning Team to drive alignment and deliver global views/analysis/recaps when required
Walk the APO Execs through the demand assessment exercise and incorporate Execs feedback to get to a consensus demand assessment
Work with Financial Planning team to make sure the financial assessment of the demand is consistent to the demand forecast assumptions
Prepare any presentation materials required for the discussion between APO Execs and the Studio Execs
Maintain the relationship with the Studios Executive Producers, GMO Marketing leads and Global Analytics to incorporate any development/insight changes into the demand assessment and get full product/demand recaps ready ahead of the LRM process
New Business Models
Enable APO to have a solid position on new business models (streaming, subscription, loyalty programs, Mobile/HD crossover…) and enable APO Execs to have constructive discussions/ take appropriate decisions with Studio Execs on development initiatives
Investigate any new business model that could impact APO Go To Market strategy
Build the prep work to assess the potential opportunity for APO and get solid demand forecast rationale behind the demand assessment
Partner with Demand Planning Team to drive alignment and deliver global views/analysis/recaps when required
Work with Global Financial Planning and Global Strategic Planning to validate the financial details/projections
Walk the APO Execs through the demand assessment exercise and prep any presentation materials required for the discussion between APO Execs and the Studio Execs
Working Relationships
This position will interface and interact with many different teams across the company, especially within the Studios / Global Teams.

Position Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business or finance required. MBA preferred.
3-5 years of prior experience as a Demand Planning Director (or equivalent) in the videogame/entertainment industry
Heavy gamer across all genres/platforms
Demonstrated success in implementing and leading a demand management process, including forecasting software (Demantra preferred).
Experience in digital and FMCG activities (marketing, finance and/or sales) required with entertainment background being a plus.
Knowledge of the development cycles in high-tech companies
Knowledge of North American retail/digital business processes
Excellent cross-functional leadership and collaborative skills
Strong communication skills
Ability to use Business Intelligence softwares
