Director - Sales Productivity Analytics - Gartner - Stamford

Job description
Major Responsibilities/ Accountabilities:
Manage the overall development of critical monthly and quarterly reports re: global sales growth and productivity
Present findings to Gartner’s senior executives
Synthesize key discussion items and drive follow-up actions/analyses
Identify and investigate opportunities to enhance or develop global programs designed to increase productivity of Gartner’s sales professionals
Work with the rest of the Sales Operations team to regularly assess each region’s sales force in detail, and propose plans to address issues that are driving sub-par performance of salespeople
Continually refine/enhance analyses, tools and processes to more effectively communicate trends in key markets (i.e. client contract growth and sales headcount)
Collaborate with Business Intelligence, Finance, and Technology teams to develop and deploy dashboards for use by sales management and Company leadership


Desired Skills and Experience
Requirements:
Minimum 5+ years of experience with designing/executing quantitative analyses and independently extracting executive-level insights; experience in management consulting and/or sales analytics preferred
Proven ability to solve problems and think creatively
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; experience with C-level audiences preferred
Strong project management skills; ability to prioritize and deliver on multiple simultaneous initiatives with superior quality and attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to work well both independently and within a team environment
Ability to collaborate with and influence cross-functional stakeholders (i.e. in other functions and business units)
Highly proficient with tools used to conduct and communicate the results of quantitative analyses (at least MS Excel and PowerPoint; experience with relational databases would be beneficial)
