Job description
We are currently seeking an Operations Director to join the Dunkin' Brands team! Chicago.Wisconsin
The Operations Director leads a team of 4 to 8 Operations Managers. They deliver scorecard results through leadership and management of the Operations Managers. They identify and remove barriers to team accomplishments. They translate the business strategy into day to day execution providing direction and focus with each OM understanding, aligned with, and capable of partnering with franchisees to deliver results against a defined business plan. The ODs ensure each OM upholds the standards and reputation of the brand while enhancing guest satisfaction and franchisee profitability. They role model effective business planning, restaurant excellence through continual evaluation and coaching, and building effective relationships through mutual trust and respect. They collaborate and communicate across the organization allowing for “one voice”, core work process delivery, and best practice implementation.

The primary accountabilities for this position include:
· Balance leadership between delivering quality of relationship and quantitative results.
· Through self awareness and personal learning, address gaps between current leadership and required competencies and take initiative to engage the organization on building skills.
· Increase franchisee accountability for delivering on their business plan through collaboration across organization, analysis of their performance and engagement towards restaurant excellence, ensure alignment between franchisor and franchisee.

· Increase franchisee capability by analyzing information and making decisions accordingly, partnering with OM team to influence as appropriate, educate and coach OM team on performance developing required competencies.
· Increase franchisee profitability by identifying sales and profit goals, maintain focus of OM team on franchise business planning and business review, identifying barriers and common themes.
· Facilitate collaboration across organization.
· Clearly communicate goals and the strategies that will facilitate achievement of targets.
· Manage execution and service excellence for customers.
· Demonstrate competency in a fast paced, consumer brand organization, growing through changes in markets, concepts, and raising the bar in performance and results.
· Apply knowledge and learning of business functions in the marketplace to include retail, operations, marketing, accounting, sales, human resources, supply chains, margins, etc.

The qualifications for this position include, but are not limited to the following:
· Ten plus years restaurant or retail management experience with multi-unit leadership experience
· Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
· Presentation skills
· Computer skills
· Written and verbal communication skills
· Car and air travel
· Communication by phone and email
· Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for long periods of time
· Computer work
· Subject to restaurant environment and outdoor environment
· Driving through congested traffic
· Attendance at meetings and training at offsite locations
· Conference calls
· Must be able to work alone utilizing disciplined time management
· Visits to restaurants and meetings with franchisees
· Home office for uninterrupted administrative work
