Director - Healthcare Commercial Banking - UMB Bank - Kansas
Job description
We are currently hiring a Director of Healthcare Commercial Banking for our Corporate Headquarters in Kansas City, Missouri.
Duties & Responsibilities:
This role leads and oversees the growth of the lending activity focused on Healthcare (large physician offices, hospitals, outpatient clinics, post acute care facilities, or senior living facilities) for the company-wide footprint reporting to the President of Commercial Banking. Position is eligible for relocation assistance.
-Develop strategies for market growth, client relationship optimization and operational efficiencies.
-Accountable to define and meet/exceed the annual business objectives, goals and strategies for the Healthcare Lending segment.
-Accountable to the P&L for the healthcare lending segment and focused on driving net income.
-Accountable for growing the existing Healthcare Lending portfolio.
-Utilize coaching expertise and focus on the use of our sales philosophy, sales tools, & sales behaviors to grow and deepen relationships.
-Review sales results and recognize/reward results and behavior that achieve success, as well as address results and behaviors that do not lead to the achievement of goals and objectives. The recognition/results is supported by conducted sales meetings, targeted customer segmentation and the development and implementation of sales plans.
-Work closely with the Regional CEO's, Treasury Management leadership team and Business & Commercial credit and underwriting, and UMB Healthcare Services.
-Other duties as assigned.

Desired Skills and Experience
Job Minimum Requirements
-Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or comparable college and/or business experience
-15 years of Commercial Banking experience
-5 years of experience in Healthcare
-10 years of leadership & sales management experience
Job Preferred Requirements
-5 years of strategic leadership & development of sales organizations from infancy

-Demonstrates proven sales management abilities
