Director - Business Development - Worldpay - Atlanta


Job description
This person is responsible for the contracts and partnerships with organization that are central influencers over business owners. They will create merchant services lead opportunities for all direct sales channels and promote merchant and Visa/MC Business product awareness in order to sustain a constant referral system. An ideal candidate will have strong relationship building skills as they will be interacting directly with prospective and targeted referral partners and merchants. Someone with a true hunter mentality will succeed in this position as sourcing of these referral partners will be done through various means including; cold calling, methodically creating and executing marketing campaigns, and email and/or mass mailing efforts. In addition, this person will communicate information on the Worldpay suite of products and services.


Desired Skills and Experience
Bachelor degree is mandatory
Minimum 5-7 years experience selling into referral partners
Minimum 3-5 years experience selling into referral partners that can drive at least 25 referrals per month
Minimum 3-5 years experience in Contract Negotiations
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel; as well as Salesforce.com contact management system
Nice to have deep subject matter expertise in mid-market and national merchant and payment processing, including pricing strategies, product needs, industry best practices, total cost of acceptance and industry specific benchmarking
Credit card processing sales experience desired, but not required; President Club level candidate preferred
