Job Description
Highly visible role within the organization - The Senior Manager of Pricing and Analysis will:
-Analyze pricing trends and present results to senior management
-Evaluate market and competitive pricing actions and formulate responses
-Work with product management to determine pricing strategy for new features and products in development
-Perform market research and analysis to support strategic pricing and packaging decisions
-Understand pricing or product questions coming from internal customers and provide solid guidance
-Develop and maintain pricing models for various print and online products, and ensure that models include value drivers and reflect current and future business trends
-Coordinate with product teams to develop product pricing strategy
-Conduct post launch analysis to determine pricing performance
Skills
Position demands analytical rigor and strategic thinking. Strong problem-solving, presentation and teamwork skills are essential.
-Strong grounding in financial analysis including discounted cash flows, ROI analysis, etc.
-Experience in e-commerce
-Experience in sales and revenue reporting and forecasting of multiple-product portfolio.
-Proven ability to communicate highly quantitative or analytical findings succinctly and in formats easily understood by senior management.
-Highly proficient in MS Excel, MS Access, MS PowerPoint. SQL knowledge and database experience preferred.
Experience:
-Approximately 5 to 7 years of job-related experience (pricing, business case analysis, management consulting)
-Cross-functional managerial experience
-Education/Training:
-Undergraduate degree in Business, Economics, Sciences, Engineering or similar required. MBA or MS in Engineering a is a plus.
