Job Description
Responsible for engaging Cloud/Hosting partners to enable the use of Citrix technology in their offerings. Also responsible for providing input to PM and Engineering on defining, prioritizing, planning and driving the execution of the vision for the Cloud product lines. Must possess business acumen as well as technical wherewithal in order to be able to strategize and drive commercial relationships with our Cloud/Hosting partners. Work extensively with customers while working cross functionally with Engineering, Cloud Architects, Product Management/Marketing, Sales, and Alliance Partners in order to successfully prioritize features and develop the products that our customers need.
The role requires a broad skill set that leverages experiences in new market development, sales, business development and technology partnerships to contribute to a product development effort. The position requires strong analytical and communication skills and the ability to distill the key issues from complex problems.
• Responsible for building and maintaining third party partner relationships
• Ensure successful outcomes of pilots
• Understand and ability to articulate competitive strategy that incorporates desktop virtualization landscape
• Provide clearly communicated product requirements for engineering
• Work closely with Cloud Architect and Sales to identify and address broad industry and product trends
• Coordinate market development opportunities closely with Sales
Skills
• At least 10 years of market/business development experience at a technology company focused on the SP/Telco/Hosting/Cloud segment
• Extensive knowledge of product lifecycles, go-to market plans & implementation, product business models, defining product requirements, product support.
• BS in Computer Science or related technical degree
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication (written and verbal) and collaboration skills are a pre-requisite
• Highly motivated individual with a results-driven orientation
• Must be able to demonstrate both a passion for technology and a strong aptitude for business strategy
