Job Description
The Demantra Consulting Group is part of the North American Consulting's Value Chain Planning National Practice. Our organization comprises delivery consultants who reside in various parts of the United States, and are typically engaged in billable consulting work at our North American Clients who implement these Oracle Value Chain Applications such as Demantra Demand Management (DM), Demantra Advanced Forecasting & Demand Modeling (AFDM), Demantra Real-time Sales & Operations Planning (RTS&OP), and Trade Promotions Management (TPM). Our consultants combine solid techno-functional skills around the core Oracle Demantra applications with a sound understanding of Supply Chain and Demand Planning (Forecasting) concepts.

An experienced consulting professional who has an understanding of solutions, business processes, or technology designs within a product/technology family.
Detailed Description
Operates independently to provide quality work products to an engagement. Performs varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment, in order to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs. Applies Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices. Demonstrates expertise to deliver functional and technical solutions on moderately complex customer engagements. May act as the team lead on projects. Effectively consults with management of customer organizations. Participates in business development activities.
Job Requirements
5-7 years of experience relevant to this position including 2 years consulting experience preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.
Additional Details
Specifically, we are seeking consultants with proven implementation experience around the following modules:
• Oracle Demantra Demand Management (DM)
• Oracle Demantra Real-time Sales & Operations Planning (RTS&OP)
• Oracle Demantra Advanced Forecasting & Demand Modeling (AFDM)
• Oracle Demantra Trade Promotions Management (TPM)
Also required is a good understanding of Supply Chain Management, Planning & Forecasting principles, effective communication skills, and a results-driven and self-starter mindset. Knowledge of the Oracle e-Business Suite or JD Edwards Applications, and related integration points is a plus. Knowledge of the Oracle database, entity relationship diagrams & data modeling, and SQL or PL/SQL languages is required. Some of the tasks that the consultant will perform include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Requirements gathering and fit-gap analysis
• Knowledge Transfer & Super User Training
• Knowledge of best practices around Demand Planning & Trade Promotion Management
• Installing databases, applications and web servers
