Amazon is seeking a Senior Art Director to join a newly formed team creating a groundbreaking, multi-platform discovery shopping experience. We are looking for a designer who is interested in playing a vital role in driving a transformative, new shopping experience for millions of Amazon customers.
The designer in his role will join our creative team to help drive the design of a high-visibility, social commerce experience focused on personal style. We are looking for a curious, customer-obsessed designer with experience working on cohesive, visually stunning systems. This designer will have a keen interest in innovation and enjoy collaborating with product managers, engineers and other designers.

You will
Collaborate within a close-knit product team including product managers, developers and engineers to define and produce beautifully-executed experiences that appeal to millions of customers
Design conceptual sketches or wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, interaction specifications, and/or prototypes
Bring strong, user-centered design skills and business knowledge to translate conceptual ideas into exceptional design solutions at scale
Support your design work using all available insights including customer feedback, quantitative data and site metrics, and usability findings
Basic Qualifications
6+ years of experience designing interactive experiences
Bachelor’s Degree in design or a related field
Demonstrated experience creating highly visual and human-centered design solutions
Demonstrated ability to influence and lead projects from concept to delivery and ongoing improvement
Demonstrated knowledge of scalable systems design
Mastery of standard interactive design tools
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years of experience as a lead/senior creative contributor
Demonstrated experience designing in agile environments
Experience designing mobile web and/or on-device mobile applications
Demonstrated ecommerce and social media experience
Strong knowledge of usability principles and techniques
