PayPal Working Capital (PPWC) is looking for a talented business person with a strong understanding of operational controls and a passion for operational excellence to lead the strategy, implementation and maintenance of a world-class Business and Compliance controls management function. The Business and Compliance Controls function is a key enabler of PayPal Working Capital achieving its goals of responsible, controlled growth and diversification. This candidate will focus on setting priorities for controls creation, testing and remediation, building a strong controls “culture” within PPWC, fostering trusted relationships with PPWC management and internal and external stakeholders, creating clearly defined partnerships with the 2nd and 3rd lines of defense and will work closely with Product/Technology with a bias for building process and controls automation.

Requirements:
10 years of experience designing and testing controls in a financial or operational environment (accounting, financial service or compliance environments - direct experience in a young, high-growth environment preferred).
Bachelor’s degree (business/engineering/accounting majors preferred).
Legal training, CPA and/or compliance experience a plus.
Open to national and international travel (15-20% - San Jose, CA/Timonium, MD, London, Sydney).
