The Director of R&D is responsible for developing and executing the technical innovation strategy for the Thermal Materials steering unit (SU). They will serve as the technical lead and manage and optimize the thermal materials development portfolio. The Director of R&D will drive the innovation rate for thermal materials towards target by executing the key innovation programs for thermal materials development while managing talent within the thermal materials R&D organization.
What we offer

Responsible for the delivery of sales from new products for the thermal materials business.
Maintains and optimizes the innovation portfolio for the thermal materials business.
Provides technical support for M&A activities concerning thermal materials.
Establishes and implements a technical strategy aligned with the business strategy for thermalmaterials. Develops the product and technology roadmap.
Advances the state of the art in materials science and polymer chemistry to address the changing dynamics of the thermal materials market.
Assures all Product Development & Engineering laboratory work is carried out in a safe,
responsible manner and that those products and processes comply with all federal and stateregulatory agencies. Establishes best practices in terms of safety, 5S and experimentation.

Qualifications

Who we are looking for
PhD in Chemistry, Materials Science, Polymers or related field.
15 years R&D experience with materials development experience and electronics
with semiconductor experience highly preferred.
