We are currently seeking a Manager, Finance – Direct To Consumer (DTC), for the Business Decision Support department. This Manager is one of key finance positions focused on various DTC initiatives. This position is heavily involved in business modeling and financial planning for eCommerce/WBShop initiatives, ownership initiatives including UltraViolet and Disc to Digital, Consumer Intelligence / Social Enterprise initiatives and new initiatives.
The ideal candidate will be tasked with the following responsibilities:
Financial Planning & Analysis
Work with business partners to define and validate key budget and forecast assumptions; consolidate models with updates and review to ensure inputs and outcome are rational / likely results.
Ensure integrity of detailed build models.
Monthly / Quarterly Close
Coordinate with Accounting to ensure finance accruals and sign offs are complete.
Oversee variance analysis, identify and communicate risks/opportunities to business owners, propose solutions to mitigate potential downside.
Identify opportunities to stream line and improve accuracy/visibility into the monthly close process with Accounting.
Lead creation of detailed monthly actual reporting with accounting that is visible by key lines of business and provides opportunities to conduct actual vs. budget/forecast analysis.
Reporting & Databases
Define and oversee the creation of databases to capture DTC initiative historical, actual, and build support data points.
Identify opportunities to increase visibility and understanding of business drivers/levers.
Prepare and maintain financial presentations and decks for executive reviews.
Modeling / Analysis / Metrics
Create, maintain and modify complex financial models and conduct scenario analysis.
Partner with Initiative Owners to define assumptions and manage modeling/forecasting and investment planning.
Deal analysis and review.
Identify and create KPI reporting structure.
Ad hoc assignments as required to support DTC stakeholders.
Desired Skills and Experience
Desirable candidates will have the following qualifications:
BA/BS degree in Finance or Economics required. MBA a plus.
4-6 years related experience required.
Home Video or other entertainment experience preferred.
Financial analysis and modeling experience.
Planning, budgeting and forecasting experience.
Must have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Access.)
Knowledge in Essbase and SAP preferred.
Must have proficient knowledge of GAAP.
