In this role, you will be responsible for helping to blueprint and deliver analytic projects that solve clients' business objectives. You will leverage your knowledge of big data and analytic techniques such as modeling and segmentation. Based on findings from data analysis, you will draw insights and make actionable recommendations that reflect the client's business and context. This function is critical in building market-relevant client solutions and intellectual property for Visa.

Responsibilities
Work with manager and clients to fully understand business requirements and desired business outcomes
Assist in scoping and designing analytic projects and solutions. Contribute to brainstorming sessions
Execute analytic projects ranging from small to large either individually or as part of a project team
Manage project and client relationship for small projects
Extract actionable business insights from the data and build deliverables that clearly communicate the findings and recommendations
Research industry metrics and business context and bring this context to bear in analyses
Ensure project delivery within timelines and budget requirements
Present findings and recommendations to internal clients
Identify opportunities to create and automate repeatable analyses or build self-service tools for business users
Propose R&D ideas that will address client strategic needs or advance ADP IP
Contributes to team-wide efforts for achieving organizational goals, improving processes and knowledge sharing
Perform other tasks on an as-needed basis
Qualifications

Technical skills:
High level of competence in Excel and PowerPoint
Experience with data visualization and business intelligence tools like Tableau, Micro strategy, or other programs
High level of competence with SQL syntax for extracting and aggregating data
Real world experience using Hadoop is also preferred
Proficiency with programming languages for data and statistical analysis, such as Python, SAS or R, is also highly desirable
Familiarity or experience with data mining and statistical modeling (e.g., regression modeling, clustering techniques, decision trees, etc.) is very helpful
Experience
2 to 5 years of experience in an analytical or quantitative role in areas such as consulting, planning, analytics, or data driven strategy
Bachelor's Degree in quantitative field (Statistics, Mathematics, Operational Research, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, or equivalent experience) is required
Master's Degree in quantitative field will be given preference
Experience in credit cards, financial services, merchant analytics (such as retail, hotels or airlines), or tech is helpful but not required
