This position, which will report to the VP/GM Teradata Cloud, will be responsible for leading Teradata’s Cloud Engineering Organization.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
• Lead day to day direction of Cloud Engineering team
• Build cloud engineering organization with an execution focus

• Build and execute cloud development roadmap and staffing model
• Build staffing model to include internal staff and outsourced efforts
• Define long term strategic technology and process roadmaps

• Strong understanding of ITIL best practices, especially Service Strategy, Service Design, and Service Transition
• Experience building and delivering Cloud Services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
• Experience leveraging third party Cloud Service Providers (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
• Experience in data warehousing and high performance computing environments
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor degree in computer science, information systems or related experience
• 10+ years of engineering management experience
• 5+ years of experience in information technology
• 5+ years of project management experience
• Technical management of product engineering teams
• Experience developing/delivering Cloud Services
• Experience leading development of more than one of the following in a Cloud Provider environment:
o Data Analytics (Teradata, Asterdata, Hadoop, Business Analytics, Data Integration)
o Networking
o Virtualization
o Storage
o Cloud Automation
