We are seeking a new member to work closely with Trading, Research, and Portfolio Management to develop the tools and processes used to monitor our global trading performance, and to perform quantitative analyses of trading strategies. This position requires programming and troubleshooting skills, coupled with an enthusiasm for learning quantitative analysis and an interest in financial markets.
We are seeking a new member to develop web based user interfaces which will be used to report and visualize data and work on the processes that generate that data.
• Developing and support client server applications using (Angular, JavaScript, Java/J2EE, Swing, HTML, CSS)
• Building client server applications using REST, messaging
• Diagnose, research and resolve software defects
• Developing and enhancing business analytics using java, Spring, SQL
• Design and implement unit testing for
• Work with team to design and plan implementations, enhancements and fixes
• Responding to end-user support queries, tracing production data flow logic to diagnose root causes.
Required Skills
• 4+ years Java experience -- multi-tier enterprise OOP application development and design.
• 3+ UI development with MEAN stack and Swing
• 3+ Unix experience
• Experience with SQL relational and databases
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Minimum Bachelors in Computer Science or related field.
Preferred Skills
• Prior experience working with Cassandra/NoSQL databases, data warehouse technology.
• Prior financial technology role desirable. E.g. trade floor support / operational / trade clearing.
• Experience with investment management and knowledge of financial products: FX, Equity, Fixed Income
