Primary objective of this position is to generate, develop and lead the deal closure for major advanced services deals within a defined global geographic region (eg. Asia, North and Latin America, Europe).
This is a Big Deal Pursuit role focused on driving new deals, order closure, revenue and positive gross margin generation. This role is not focused in areas of account management, renewals, incremental account growth.
The Incumbent will be paired with a Lead Services Technical Consultant and as a team of two, drive large complex advanced services deals in a defined geography. The Incumbent will create and lead a cross-functional team of resources as the deal requires, including salespeople, professional services consultant(s), account support associates, solution architects, service offer management and project management resources in the deal pursuit and closure cycle.

This is a business development role with orders, revenue and minimum gross margin accountability. The role is responsible for the development and execution of winning sales strategies for NCR’s portfolio of advanced solutions including managed services, services related to advanced availability of the customer environment and everything as a service.

Knowledge of structuring large complex deals for a service environment with a focus on value based outcomes is essential to the success of this role.

Incumbent will be expected to have existing senior relationships within Financial Institutions for the nominated geographic region and will have responsibility for developing and maintaining relationships with executive members of strategic client organizations in order to facilitate large deal creation.

Manages the team’s sales efforts to ensure that the appropriate activities are properly executed to create demand for NCR solutions, gain customer commitment, build momentum and accelerate the sales cycle.

Leads the large deal pursuit. Works with the NCR Account Manager for the communicating deal strategy and implementing an appropriate deal management and coverage plan within the customer account.

Understands key industry trends – such as mobility, cloud, XaaS – and can demonstrate how they have applied emerging technologies as a value differentiator in a large complex sales cycle. Incumbent will be part of industry boards and associations and be ahead of the
