The Strategy team at Intel Security seeks an exceptional professional to help define the company's long-term strategic direction. The Director of Strategy will play a critical role in analyzing industry trends, formulating actionable strategy, evaluating business opportunities, and coordinating efforts across Intel Security business units and functions. The role requires close interaction with senior executives throughout the company. This person will therefore have a significant opportunity to impact the growth, direction and future of Intel Security.
This person will focus on:
Strategy development: Lead and support the development of Intel Security's strategy and long-term strategic priorities. Drive strategic thought leadership.
Strategic execution: Support strategy projects into the execution phase. Be a key integrator by bringing business leaders and stakeholders together to collaborate and make decisions with efficiency and with a balance of short and long term benefit.
Market intelligence: Support the market intelligence team in developing insights about key industry trends and inform the organization of their strategic implications.
Team leadership: Strengthen general strategic skills in the strategy team and the wider organization by actively supporting recruiting, training and developing of team members and high potential colleagues.

Qualifications

MBA or engineering degree from a top school with a minimum of 6 years of experience
3-5 years of experience in Tier I management consulting (McKinsey, BCG, Bain) post MBA required
2-4 years of experience in the industry preferred
Prior experience in B2B and B2C software preferred
Experience identifying, evaluating, analyzing critical strategic questions and business situations
Excellent ability to put complex ideas into clear frameworks, use data to generate insights and recommendations
Proven analytical and quantitative skills with a data-driven approach to problem solving
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Comfortable interacting with senior business leaders
Team player able to effortlessly work with cross-functional teams
Experience in managing small, high-performing teams and developing top talent into future thought leaders and strategy function managers
Exceptional written and oral communications skills
High energy, positive attitude and motivated
Adaptable and flexible, makes a pleasant first impression and builds solid relationships
