Develops strategic plans for the Fougera site by identifying internal and external strategic opportunities to drive improved financial performance. Performs financial analysis of potential opportunities; prepares and recommends financial strategic objectives and alternatives.
• Leads the COGS Initiative for the Fougera site to drive improved financial performance.
• Utilizes six-sigma and lean manufacturing tools to identify cost savings opportunities; then conducts economic feasibility studies for projects identified through lean events, collects and analyzes data and provides proposals to management.
• Provides cost estimates and capital expenditure justification as necessary.
• Works with internal and external teams to prioritize the projects identified and approved.
• Develops and manages reporting system comparing actual COGS performance against plan and publishes explanations for variances.
• Helps drive the vision, philosophy and methodology of Lean Six Sigma into the Fougera site culture.
• Responsible for the managing the collection of site data and crafting presentations for senior management.
• Adheres to all applicable procedures, cGMP’s, company policies, and all other quality or regulatory requirements (OSHA, DEA, FDA, EMEA, ANVISA, HS&E, etc.). Ensures all work is performed in a safe, effective manner, and in compliance with the appropriate industry and regulatory (FDA, DEA, OSHA) standards, and Departmental, Plant, and Corporate quality and Behavioral Based Safety (BBS) goals.
Requirements
• Bachelors Degree required (Masters Degree preferred) • 10 plus years of related experience preferably within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment and a minimum of 7 years management experience required. • Six Sigma/Lean Certification
