Human Resources Director McDonald's Bethesda

The HR Director will work out of the Bethesda field office and will be required to travel. This role will have two HR Managers as direct reports and will report into the Sr. Director or Zone People Officer. This role will partner directly with the VP of Operations on supporting the field office talent and have accountability for roughly 1400 restaurants.
Responsibilities

•Co-develops and executes a vision for attracting, developing, and retaining exceptional talent within a Field organization

-Collaborates with Zone People Officer to establish recruiting goals, priorities, and Field Office strategies

-Provides guidance on the implementation of training and mentorship programs to retain, inspire, and build leaders at all levels while tailoring initiatives to Field Office needs and nuances

-Leverages data and analytics to uncover insights about employee engagement and opportunities to enhance retention and satisfaction

•Drives satisfaction with national People strategies and initiatives across the Field

-Builds Field deployment strategies for new People initiatives and communicates with McDonald’s non-corporate restaurants to ensure their successful execution

-Resolves escalated initiative concerns and implementation roadblocks

•Cultivates strong employee relations to foster an inclusive, safe, and positive people culture

-Develops standards and processes for managing interpersonal issues across the Field Office

-Directly addresses high-priority issues or escalates to Zone People Officer

-Champions company culture and communicates key messaging and attitudes to McDonald’s non-corporate restaurants within the Field Office

•Oversees, coaches, and evaluates Field HR Managers to ensure exceptional results and execution of Field HR initiatives

•Acts as a consultant and thought partner to franchisees
