Cognizant Corporate Marketing is seeking a talented and experienced senior content producer to build and lead the development of long-form and short-form thought leadership content.

Working closely with senior leadership and Corporate Marketing, this role requires a creative and visual thinker who is process oriented and well versed in thought leadership development and execution, as well as standard publishing protocols. Possessing proven expertise in developing compelling B2B content that translates highly technical and complex issues into illuminating points of view that reflect Cognizant’s ideas that closely align with the company’s corporate messaging and positioning across its entire global portfolio of business, consulting and IT services.
This position requires an individual who is equally adept at producing long-form thought leadership white papers as he or she is at delivering trans media content that combines light HTML content with video, audio and information graphics – be they static, motion and interactive. This content, which makes up nearly two-thirds of the team’s thought leadership output, appears in the Latest Thinking section of our website and on our Digital Perspectives app (for both IoS and Android smart phones and tablets).

You will have mastered the skills needed to work closely with savvy and sophisticated subject matter experts (SMEs) across the company’s various vertical and horizontal business units, drawing deep insights on their thinking and results delivered by Cognizant, worldwide. You should be comfortable working with SMEs for whom English is not always their native tongue.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES AS A MARKETING THOUGHT LEADER
Contribute to the creation of an editorial plan with the VP of Corporate Marketing and Program Manager, spanning long-form pdf white papers and short-form trans media content.
Develop thought leadership initiatives with SMEs across Business Units, the Cognizant Center for the Future of Work and Corporate Marketing.
Oversee the go-to-market strategy with Corporate Communications, Social Media and Field Marketing leaders, worldwide.
Identify local writers, designers and videographers to deliver on program’s quality goals and to advance go-to-market performance.
Ensure process conformance with established Cognizant thought leadership conventions.
QUALIFICATIONS
4-year, accredited undergraduate degree in a marketing, journalism, or communications-related field.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in content development, content marketing and program/project management.
Proven success planning and delivering thought leadership programs, as well as crafting related assets that drive high-impact, brand-aligned integrated campaigns that combine digital tools, web marketing tactics, social media evangelism and physical world events.
Extraordinary writing, conceptual design, presentation and negotiation skills to continue the organization’s transition from long-form, pdf white papers, to short-form, light text trans media content.
Expertise working with a variety of digital and social publishing tools; light design, and HTML skills are useful.
Experience working in a multicultural, global environment.
