The Director US PEH BAI will be the primary analytics partner to two commercial teams in the US Retail & Government business in PEH - the Business Model Transformation team and the Greenstone team. The colleague will be expected to own several client relationships across that commercial organization. They will lead the analytic planning to inform decision-making to maximize US R&G performance. They will play a pivotal role in helping the teams identify, evaluate, execute and measure opportunities for their commercial strategy, business development and portfolio partnership.
This role is dynamic, fast-paced, highly collaborative, and covers a broad range of strategic topics that are critical to the US PEH Retail business. You will support business transformation through proactive thought leadership, innovative analytical capabilities and ability to communicate highly complex and dynamic information in new and creative ways.



ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES


Analytical Thinker: Understands how to synthesize facts and information from primary and secondary sources, both new and pre-existing, into discernable insights and perspectives; takes a problem solving approach by connecting analytical thinking with an understanding of business drivers and how BA can provide value to the organization
Strong Data and Information Manager: Understands and uses analytical skills/tools to produce data in a clean, organized way to drive objective insights to identify areas of opportunity for the business
Exceptional Communicator: Can understand, translate, and distill the complex, technical findings of the team into commentary that facilitates effective decision making by senior leaders; can readily align interpersonal style with the individual needs of customers
Relationship Manager: Acts as a thought partner to the commercial partners and bring forward recommendations/questions that influence stakeholders; build robust and long-term strategic relationships with individuals from all levels of the organization, understanding individual goals and objectives to ensure future alignment of the entire portfolio
Influencer: Clearly articulates expectations, capabilities, and action plans; actively listens with others' frame of reference in mind; appropriately shares information with team; favorably influences people without direct authority

Commercial Partnership: Lead the analytic partnership with the Business Model Transformation and Greenstone teams. Work across the Greenstone and Business Model Transformation commercial teams on partnerships between the authorized generic and branded business that would benefit patients and Pfizer.
Portfolio Development and Forecasting: Develop and lead solutions to drive demand generation, brand building, and loyalty strategies utilizing a variety of analytic capabilities (e.g., segmentation, mix modeling, forecasting, predictive modeling, content effectiveness, etc.), systematic assessment of customer and business drivers, and optimal integrated data management



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS


7+ Years' experience in Analytics function and/or strategic consulting function
Bachelor's degree required; MA/MS/MBA or other advanced degree preferred
Deep expertise working with and managing large volumes of data is required
Deep expertise with secondary data analysis required
Expertise with primary market research is preferred
Highly autonomous; results and accountability oriented.
Ability to manage and execute simultaneously, multiple projects involving a variety of analytic techniques.
Ability to quickly establish credibility with internal client-partners and to be the seen as a partner to the business with a deep expertise in analytics and delivering impactful results
Ability to provide structure to ambiguous situations, proactively collaborating with senior members of the commercial team to help coordinate and prioritize most critical needs
Strong interpersonal skills as well as excellent verbal communication and presentation skills, skilled at influencing others leveraging clear and effective frameworks
Ability to work effectively in and lead cross-functional teams (including contingent resources) as well as in partnership with fellow BA colleagues, functional partners, other commercial partners, and external partners.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Comfort with Tableau (or similar interactive analytics platforms) is preferred
Knowledge of US Retail payer landscape is a plus
Knowledge of US generic market is a plus
