Director Total Reward And Global HR Policy Unilever London

Main Purpose: To drive the performance and engagement of our People through our total reward and global policy proposition in this super lean and focused People function in our €3bn “start-up”, plant based foods business.

The role will lead and shape all total rewards and incentives, including sales, salary, short-term and long-term pay plans; inclusive of establishing/executing the processes/timelines and development of communications. It will serve as a close advisor to the senior leadership in his/her area of expertise including interface with the senior executives of the company.
Your Main Responsibilities: -



· You will be responsible to develop and implement compensation and benefits plans that are competitive, flexible and cost effective – living and underlining the Company culture

· You will work to determine policy and approaches the People agenda that align and define the way the business values its people and drives a culture of performance

· In this role you will work closely with third party vendors and brokers across a broad range of benefits in multiple countries

· Lead analytic capabilities, including financial modelling tools, to provide the necessary information to Company leadership to facilitate policy decision-making relative to compensation and benefits

· Landing the benefits package post exit of the Unilever TSA will be a big win – with an eye to the future in terms of building personalisation and flexibility for our People.

· Oversee and direct the execution of compensation policies and practices related to job evaluation, salary increases and incentives, use of wage and salary surveys, and other elements of compensation program administration.

· Direct the global HR network to ensure local alignment with global compensation and benefits plans and execution of policies.

Skills and Experience Required:



· Demonstrated experience in both compensation and benefits. 10 – 15 years plus of HR experience - expert knowledge of employee benefits concepts, practices, legislation, and procedures, and their linkage to business strategy.

· Experience of managing third party providers across a range of benefits including Pensions.

· Track record of delivering innovative and effective approaches to compensation and benefit issues.

· Recent success in developing and implementing global solutions on total rewards that drive business performance, flexibility and value.

· Experience in a globally dispersed organization;

· Ability to communicate directly, clearly and honestly with senior executive leadership.
