Director Strategic Roadmap Healthcare Informatics Philips Cambridge

As Director of Strategic Roadmap HI you will be responsible for integrating long term market developments with the mission and objectives of the business group, and translate that into a global product & solution innovation roadmap. You will do this in coordination with product and program management leaders of all the HI businesses, and leaders of the markets that we serve.

Together with the product management leaders of all HI businesses, you will drive our innovation roadmap, to ensure we maximize value for our customers, ensure seamless delivery & support, optimal sales execution, and solution profitability.
You are responsible for

Integrate long term market developments with the mission and objectives of the business group into global product strategies, in alignment with the product management leaders of the HI businesses
Translate HI mission and objectives into global HI product/solution strategies. Ensures that these strategies are interlinked with product strategies across businesses (in/outside HI where relevant)
Develop and maintain a needs-based customer segmentation as well as competitive landscape overview for HI across global markets (supported by Market Intelligence)
Collect and analyze market information w.r.t. to long term market and technology developments
Help define product/solution platforms that support growth, product evolution, modular designs
Develop (or support the businesses with development of) business cases for new products and services for consideration in the portfolio management process
Develop business requirements for new product/solutions and enhancements to existing products; work with product management leaders of the businesses on functional specifications and feature/function prioritization
Supports make/partner/buy decisions for HI, in cooperation with strategic business development, product management) and business leadership
Work with market activation colleagues to translate the HI innovation roadmap into a customer facing presentation toolkit, segmented towards audience (C-suite, clinical etc.) as well as customer type (net new, existing etc.)
Work with Field Marketing to enable the market sales teams (e.g., conduct HI roadmap presentations ahead of new product launch)
Conduct customer executive level HI presentations, coordinated as part of sales campaigns with priority customers
Understand and keep up-to-date on the business epics and architectural epics roadmap from each of the businesses and/or programs
Maintains oversight of release(s) across HI and pro-actively manage and coordinate interdependencies

With serving thousands of healthcare informatics customers worldwide, we are a top player in healthcare informatics and we’re looking for top talent to join this team!

You will be part of a diverse, multi-disciplinary team mainly comprised of product marketing, market activation, market intelligence and program management colleagues who work from our key innovation hubs around the globe in Cambridge MA (USA), Bangalore (India), Haifa (Israel), and our brand new Healthcare Informatics buildings at the Philips Innovation Campus in Blumenau (Brazil) as well as Eindhoven (The Netherlands).

The team is globally responsible for the Philips IntelliSpace offering, and is working on a very frequent basis with our customers (e.g. CIO’s, radiology/cardiology/oncology service line directors) as well as Philips colleagues in other businesses such as Interventional Guided Therapy (IGT), Diagnostic Imaging (DI) and Monitoring & Analytics (M&A), as well as field marketing, sales and service delivery teams across the globe.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

A Master degree in Science/Innovation, Business, Innovation Management or comparable
Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience in the health/high-tech or managed services informatics industry
Ability to work in an international, multi-disciplinary, high growth environment with venture dynamics
Ability to articulate and drive solution/technology architecture concepts
Results oriented, problem solving skills and business acumen, with ability to execute in view of what is best for the overall business
Experience in conducting strategic presentations for C-suite and/or clinical leaders
Ambition and potential to over time step up to a strategic marketing or product management leadership role
Excellent customer centric skills, with focus on all customer touch points
Proven track record of product management or business ownership role in an iterative and incremental (scaled) Agile software development environment
Outstanding communication- and influencing skills
