The Communications Account Director is responsible for leading the development, execution and measurement of communications strategies that closely align with and enable the companys business objectives. Serving as a member of the sector Communications leadership team, the Communications Account Director works at multiple levels of the organization, e.g., division, sector, and corporate, to collaborate and align the proper resources to ensure consistent execution of these strategies. This position will serve as the primary communications advisor to the Cyber and Intelligence Mission Solutions (CIMS) and Space ISR Systems divisions, reporting to the Sector Vice President of Communications and supporting the divisions Vice President and General Managers.
In this critical role, the Communications Account Director will be accountable for all aspects of prioritizing, planning, resourcing, executing and measuring internal and external communications campaigns and enabling activities in support of the two divisions. This includes responsibility for media relations, employee and executive communications, crisis communications, tradeshows and events, advertising and marketing. In addition, the Communications Account Director supports the Sector Vice President of Communications with sector-wide communications strategies and campaigns as needed.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:


Bachelor's degree in Communications or a related field.
12+ years of directly related professional work experience (10+ years of directly related professional work experience with a Master's degree).
Understanding of US government space market.
Track record of leadership success with business driven, complex communications projects.
Excellent executive-level written and verbal communications skills.
Strategic systems-level thinking, interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to manage budgets, schedules and executive support.
Track record of successfully leading teams of direct and matrixed employees including team members located in multiple locations.
Management of multiple projects and priorities while meeting schedule, budget, and quality requirements.
Candidate must be a US Citizen, with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Current TS/SCI clearance
Experience with International communications projects
Understanding of the global government cyber/non-kinetic and intelligence markets.
